Heels Hoops
UNC basketball for the analytically inclined
Seven national championships and counting...
When he committed to UNC on July 9th, Jalen Washington was a 5 star prospect and the top recruit in UNC's strong 2022 class (who will start their college careers a year from now. He's the heir apparent to Armando Bacot at center, and it was thought he may start at center as a freshman. Unfortunately, he's hit some rotten injury luck (reported by Inside Carolina), tearing his meniscus and learning that a previous surgery for a torn ACL wasn't done properly. He had to repair both injuries and is now expected to miss his senior season of high school in Gary, Indiana. What does this mean for UNC?

AuthorI'm a UNC grad and big-time Heels fan. I launched this site in October 2021 because I felt like there was a dearth of analytics for UNC basketball fans and wanted a spot to speculate, comment, and scrutinize all things UNC hoops. Hope you enjoy! Archives
